NM Authorities arrest illegal immigrants in drivers license fraud
New Mexico State officials say seven illegal immigrants from Brazil and Mexico are accused of using fraudulent documents to try to obtain New Mexico driver's licenses.
Taxation & Revenue Secretary Demesia Padilla stated that the practice of allowing illegals to obtain driver's licenses are putting public safety at risk and would repeat a request to repeal the practice.
All seven immigrants are currently being held by immigration officials in El Paso, Texas.
